Adana is a province and the sixth most populous city in Turkey. According to 2019 data, it has a population of 2,237,940. The area of the province is 13,844 km². There are 160 people per km² in the province. According to 01.02.2018 TUIK data, there are a total of 15 districts and municipalities, 5 of which are central districts. There are 831 neighborhoods in these districts.
With its back to the Taurus Mountains and having a unique location right next to the Seyhan River, Adana attracts thousands of local and foreign tourists every year with its cuisine, rich culture and deep-rooted history.
