Perforated Poplar / Tilos

Perforated Poplar / Tilos
The rock tombs, wall ruins and ground graves on a hill dominating the region between Elcik and Bozbel fall within the borders of the ancient city of Oktapolis. There is a rock tomb at the south end of the hill. There is a wide plain in front of it and a rock tomb at the end. It has a wide flat in front and shelves resembling a kitchen. On the top of the hill, which is surrounded by a city wall, there are cut stones, ground graves and various shapes made of stone. The southern, western and northwestern shelves of the hill are covered with the remains of the city walls. However, due to the presence of steep rocks in the east and northeast, no remains are encountered. The place, which takes its name from a poplar in the region that defies centuries, is 47 km from Dalaman and can be reached by private or village vehicles.
