Rahmi M. Koç Museum

Rahmi M. Koç Museum
Another delightful attraction to visit in the Atpazarı district is the Rahmi M. Koç Museum. Opened in 2005, this cultural institution holds the distinction of being the capital's first and only museum with an industrial theme.

The museum, which also houses items belonging to Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, operates in Çengelhan and Safranhan, which are just as interesting as its collections.

Çengelhan, dating back to the time of Suleiman the Magnificent, regained its former glory thanks to restoration work carried out between 2003 and 2005. A similar project for Safranhan, built in 1511, was undertaken from 2012 to 2016.

The Vehbi Koç Shop is considered the most popular part of the museum. After visiting the shop where the late industrialist worked during his summers as a child, you can move on to the İsmail Amca Workshop, filled with model ships and trains.
