Republic Museum

If you take the time to visit the Republic Museum, located just a 1-2 minute walk from the First Grand National Assembly Building, you can learn valuable information about the periods of our first three presidents.
The Second Assembly Building was originally designed as a meeting place for the Republican People's Party. Its construction was overseen by the renowned architect Vedat Tek.
Similar to the first building, it adheres to the Turkish architectural style, using Ankara stone. Inside, you'll encounter details characteristic of the Seljuk and Ottoman periods.
In the exhibition hall of the building, which served as the parliament building until 1960, personal belongings used by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, İsmet İnönü, and Celal Bayar await you.
